The Pottery Piazza is offering an art-intensive summer camp that will feature
day, campers will enjoy completing projects with studio instructors that relate to
pottery and mosaics. The special techniques learned as well as materials and glazes
used will be more advanced than what is available to our regular painters when
coming in to paint in our studio.
Pottery camp is recommended for children ages 8 through 15. The camp runs for one
week, Tuesday through Friday. Parents are not required to stay during the camp
session but may choose to do so if they like. Each child is required to bring a bag
lunch and beverage daily except on the last day of camp when we will treat the
campers to a pizza party and ice cream social.
Although we use similar mediums each day, the projects and techniques will change
daily so campers will have a varied curriculum that is lots of fun! There will be 8
really cool projects in total that campers will get to complete during camp! Each day,
campers will have a blast painting up a storm in our studio! In between painting, we
will collectively take a group lunch break for about a half hour. On nice days, we’ll
eat lunch outside and read a book or play a fun game together during lunch.
Campers are welcome to bring a short book to share if they’d like. Some pottery and
mosaics will be available to take home on the last day and some will need to stay at
the studio to be fired and will be ready for pick up the following week depending on
the project.
Deposits and reservations are required for the one week camp session. The camp fee
includes the cost of all project materials, instruction, and a provided lunch on the
last day as mentioned above. A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at sign up.
Deadline for sign up is 3 weeks prior to the first day of camp. Exceptions for sign up
after the deadline are at the discretion of the studio owner. The session will be
limited to a maximum number of 20 campers so sign up early while there is still room!
Spots are expected to fill up quickly. Sibling discounts are available.
The cost of pottery camp is only $219 per camper for a week of fun and EIGHT
SUPER AWESOME ARTY PROJECTS! Every earlybird camper that signs up by 6/1/10
and pays in full will receive a $10 Pottery Piazza certificate they can use on a future
