Stoneware Textured Planter | clay hand-building CLASS | WEDNEsday, July 29th | 7-9pm
Create a beautiful handcrafted planter that will look right at home on your windowsill, patio, porch, or garden! Join our professional clay instructor, Matt, for a fun and relaxing evening learning the art of hand-building with stoneware clay. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create your own 5–6" textured planter, shaping it by hand and adding unique textures and decorative details to make it completely your own. Matt will guide you step-by-step through the entire process—from building and shaping your planter to adding surface texture and finishing touches. No previous clay experience is necessary! After class, your planter will remain at Pottery Piazza to dry before being bisque fired. Once it's ready, simply return during our regular business hours to glaze your planter using our beautiful collection of premium stoneware glazes. Our staff will show you how to achieve gorgeous layered, drippy, and flowing glaze effects that make each piece truly one of a kind. After the final glaze firing, you'll have a durable, functional stoneware planter that's perfect for succulents, herbs, houseplants, flowers, or as a decorative piece throughout your home. Because this project is made from high-fired stoneware clay, it is exceptionally durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Class Fee: $49 plus tax, all inclusive.
Advance registration is required so we can prepare all materials before class.

The Pottery Piazza is "The Hot Spot for a Cool Date!" For just $8 each plus the cost of pottery, two or more people can paint from 6-10pm on Saturday nights. Bring a date to paint- any date will do- a friend, family member, spouse, or significant other. NO RESERVATION NEEDED. BYOB and food welcome. Please BYO paper goods for your serving needs. Last seating to paint is 8:45pm.

Paint Your Own Pottery
Paint a pottery piece you can use everyday and cherish for a lifetime. Painting pottery is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Choose your favorite piece of pottery from over 1500 items on our shelves such as plates, mugs, bowls, vases, banks, trinket boxes, figurines and more.
2. Plan your design from scratch or easily copy a pattern from one of our many design technique sheets. We have books and samples for ideas as well as design tools such as stencils, stamps, and sponges for even the most novice painter or anyone who feels they lack the "artistic gene". Our friendly and artistic staff is there to help guide you to creating the perfect piece.
3. Paint it any way you like, then leave your piece with us and we will do all the “hard labor” like cleaning up after our artsy guests as well as glazing and firing your pottery pieces. You will be able to pick up and use your finished, food safe and functional pottery piece in 7 days or less!
Make a Mosaic
The "Ready to Go" Activity! They're super fun and great for kids and adults plus you get to take them home the same day. We'll show you how to mosaic a piece and give you a take home kit with instructions for grouting your piece 24 hours later.
Walk-in's Welcome! We also offer mosaic parties for groups of 10 or more.

Custom Painted Pottery
The Pottery Piazza designs custom painted pottery for any occasion. We can custom paint just about anything to your specifications. Please call or stop by the studio for an estimate and details. Pieces are generally ready in 3-4 weeks. Rush orders available on request for an additional fee and can be ready in as little as seven days. Our most popular requests are Guestbook Signature Platters and Hand & Foot Print Pottery.
