Bring Dad (and Grandpa) out for a creative day of fun painting a pottery piece that they can use every day and cherish for a lifetime, all while creating special memories together at the studio! Painting 'alfresco' is also available at our outdoor painting patio, weather permitting. No reservations needed, walk-ins welcome all day!

The Kittens are coming to Pottery Piazza! Join us for an adorable pottery painting experience where creativity meets cuddles in our special collaboration event: Painting with Kittens!
Immerse yourself in the joy of painting pottery while surrounded by playful, purring kittens. Our special guests from Purrfect Cat Lounge in Plainville will be joining us with approximately 9-week-old kittens ready to charm their way into your heart. Guests can pet, cuddle, and spend time with these adoptable and adorable feline friends while creating their own pottery masterpiece.
Choose from cute cat-themed pottery, pet dishes, mugs, banks, figurines, home décor, and hundreds of other fun and functional pottery pieces. Whether you're a cat lover, an animal advocate, or simply looking for a unique family activity, this event is sure to be a memorable experience.
A portion of the event's sales will be donated to Purrfect Cat Lounge, helping support their rescue efforts and the care of cats and kittens in need. Your participation not only lets you express your creativity but also helps make a difference for local rescue animals.
Additional donations are always appreciated! Guests are welcome to bring canned or dry kitten food, Churu lickable treats, or other kitten supplies to be donated to the lounge and its furry residents.
This family-friendly event is open to all ages and has limited seating available to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
This is expected to be a one-time-only family event! The stars have aligned for us to have a group of adoptable kittens available to visit during this special event, making it a rare opportunity for kitten lovers of all ages. Whether you are able to attend our Painting with Bunnies event or not, you can still show your support for the rescue bunnies at Everybunny Counts. The week leading up to the event, Pottery Piazza will be having a supply drive and collection bin at our studio. The public is welcome to stop by Pottery Piazza during regular business hours to drop off physical donations to help their rescue. Items always needed are paper towels, garbage bags, rubber gloves, white vinegar, litter, pellets, and hay! Toys and treats for the buns are welcome too 😊

Family paint day
Friday, AUGUST 7TH | 12pm-10pm
A once-a-month fun, affordable, and creative family experience for parents and children. Just $5 for unlimited paint time per person plus the cost of pottery for families painting together (2 or more persons). Family Paint Day is generally held on the first Friday of each month (unless it conflicts with a holiday). Walk-ins only, we no longer take reservations for this event however, you are welcome to call 30 minutes prior to your arrival so you may be added to any potential wait list for seating.
private pottery wheel throwing classes
Join us for a fun and relaxing learning experience creating one of a kind stoneware pottery you make from scratch on a potter's wheel. Read through the class descriptions and sign up for a class. And if you're already a skilled potter, sign up for some open wheel time!
We offer wheel throwing classes for all skill levels from beginner/ novice to intermediate for ages 10 and up.
