kids workshop | animal snack bowls
tuesday, july 28TH | 2-4pm
Let your child's imagination come to life in clay! Join our professional clay instructor, Dani, for a fun, hands-on workshop where kids will learn the art of hand-building while creating TWO adorable pinch pot snack bowls inspired by their favorite animals! Whether they dream up a cat, frog, fox, panda, bunny, dinosaur, or an entirely unique creature, every set of bowls will be one-of-a-kind. Using simple hand-building techniques, children will learn how to form pinch pots, add ears, feet, tails, faces, and other fun details as Dani guides them step-by-step through the entire process. No previous clay experience is needed! After class, we'll carefully dry and bisque fire each child's creations. About 10 days later, families can return during our regular business hours to paint and glaze their bowls in any colors they'd like. Our friendly staff will show you exactly how to glaze them before we complete the final firing. About a week later, your child's finished bowls will be shiny, colorful, food-safe, and ready to enjoy for snacks, ice cream, fruit, cereal, jewelry, treasures—or whatever they can imagine! We use only non-toxic glazes, making these bowls both functional and safe for everyday use. Come get your hands dirty, make some new friends, and create two adorable handmade bowls you'll treasure (and actually use!) for years to come!
Advance registration is required so we can prepare all clay and materials before class.

PAINTING WITH BUNNIES

The Buns are Back! Join us for a whimsical pottery painting experience where creativity meets cuddles in our upcoming collaboration event: Painting with Bunnies! 🌈🐇
Immerse yourself in the joy of painting pottery while surrounded by adorable, furry friends. Our special guests from Everybunny Counts Rescue will be hopping by to join the fun. Guests can pet, cuddle, and play with these lovable creatures during our painting event as well as learn all about bunnies, how to properly care for them, and fostering or adoption opportunities.
A portion of the event's sales will be dedicated to supporting Everybunny Counts Rescue. Your participation in our Painting with Bunnies event not only lets you express your artistic creativity but also contributes to a cause that cares for these precious furry companions.

Whether you are able to attend our Painting with Bunnies event or not, you can still show your support for the rescue bunnies at Everybunny Counts. The week leading up to the event, Pottery Piazza will be having a supply drive and collection bin at our studio. The public is welcome to stop by Pottery Piazza during regular business hours to drop off physical donations to help their rescue. Items always needed are paper towels, garbage bags, rubber gloves, white vinegar, litter, pellets, and hay! Toys and treats for the buns are welcome too 😊

Family paint day
Friday, AUGUST 7TH | 12pm-10pm
A once-a-month fun, affordable, and creative family experience for parents and children. Just $5 for unlimited paint time per person plus the cost of pottery for families painting together (2 or more persons). Family Paint Day is generally held on the first Friday of each month (unless it conflicts with a holiday). Walk-ins only, we no longer take reservations for this event however, you are welcome to call 30 minutes prior to your arrival so you may be added to any potential wait list for seating.

Join us for a fun and relaxing learning experience creating one of a kind stoneware pottery you make from scratch on a potter's wheel. Read through the class descriptions and sign up for a class. And if you're already a skilled potter, sign up for some open wheel time!
We offer wheel throwing classes for all skill levels from beginner/ novice to intermediate for ages 10 and up.
