Let your child's imagination come to life in clay! Join our professional clay instructor, Dani, for a fun, hands-on workshop where kids will learn the art of hand-building while creating TWO adorable pinch pot snack bowls inspired by their favorite animals! Whether they dream up a cat, frog, fox, panda, bunny, dinosaur, or an entirely unique creature, every set of bowls will be one-of-a-kind. Using simple hand-building techniques, children will learn how to form pinch pots, add ears, feet, tails, faces, and other fun details as Dani guides them step-by-step through the entire process. No previous clay experience is needed! After class, we'll carefully dry and bisque fire each child's creations. About 10 days later, families can return during our regular business hours to paint and glaze their bowls in any colors they'd like. Our friendly staff will show you exactly how to glaze them before we complete the final firing. About a week later, your child's finished bowls will be shiny, colorful, food-safe, and ready to enjoy for snacks, ice cream, fruit, cereal, jewelry, treasures—or whatever they can imagine! We use only non-toxic glazes, making these bowls both functional and safe for everyday use. Come get your hands dirty, make some new friends, and create two adorable handmade bowls you'll treasure (and actually use!) for years to come!
