Get your hands in some clay and create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind holiday wreath to display in your home for years to come!

Join us at The Pottery Piazza for a fun and festive evening of clay hand-building! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create a gorgeous, approximately 12-inch ceramic holiday wreath, complete with individually handcrafted leaves and berries.

Our talented instructor, Dani, will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, teaching you how to shape, texture, and assemble your wreath using simple, repetitive hand-building techniques. It may look intricate, but don't let that fool you! This project is surprisingly easy to create, even if you've never worked with clay before.

Each wreath will be uniquely yours, with plenty of opportunities to add your own creative touches!

🎨 Make It Your Own!

Once your wreath has been dried and bisque-fired, you'll return to the studio at your convenience during regular business hours to glaze it in the colors of your choice.

Choose traditional Christmas greens and reds, soft winter whites, or colors that complement your own holiday décor. We'll have our regular studio glazes, including select specialty glazes, available for you to create a look that's uniquely yours!

Love the vibrant, speckled finish of our sample wreath? We used premium Jungle Gem glazes to achieve that beautiful effect! These specialty glaze jars will be available as an optional add-on for a small additional charge.

After glazing, we'll fire your wreath one final time, transforming it into a beautiful, lasting piece of handmade ceramic holiday décor!

Class Fee: $65 plus tax, all inclusive.

Includes all clay, tools, and materials needed to create one approximately 12-inch wreath, two hours of step-by-step instruction, initial bisque firing, a return visit at your leisure to glaze your wreath using our regular studio glazes, including select specialty options, and then the final glaze firing.

Please note: Clay pieces require drying and multiple kiln firings. Wreaths will not be ready to take home the evening of class. We'll notify you when your wreath is ready for glazing and again when it's finished and ready for pickup. If all goes as planned and you are able to return to glaze it within a few days of it’s first firing, you should be able to have it fired and ready to display for the beginning of December.

General Information about Adult Pottery Classes:

Class fee is required at sign up will allow us to prepare your materials for class. The fee is non-refundable as there is a lot of preparation for our staff to create a great event for you. If you cannot make class, please let us know at least 48 hours ahead. You are welcome to substitute or transfer your class booking to a friend or we will happily offer you a studio credit for a future walk-in pottery painting session. Feel free to bring snacks, beverages and invite your friends! No experience or artistic talent needed- our instructors walk you through the class step by step with lots of design tips to get great results! Please be on time or up to 15 minutes early for class, late arrivals will not be able to get individual catch-up instruction and arriving late is disruptive to your instructor and fellow class participants- thank you in advance for being conscientious. Food and beverages are welcome. BYOB for those 21 & up. Teens are welcome to join our class with a participating adult.
