Snowflakes on Stoneware

Learn this gorgeous and simple technique of paper snowflakes and stoneware glaze layering on your choice of a stoneware plate, platter or shallow bowl (Dinner size plate shown in photo). This piece will be a stunning centerpiece for your holiday table, for sugar cookies, or all-winter enjoyability! We will be teaching this fixed set of colors shown as the combination of these stoneware glazes are what produce this wintery mix. Follow along with our instructor-suggested color palette, however if you would like to experiment with varying stoneware colors- you are on your own and your results will be a surprise lol! You will also receive an introduction to stoneware pottery painting and learn about the difference and versatility of stoneware and stoneware glazes. General Information about Adult Pottery Painting Classes:

The class fee is $12 which covers the preparation of your painting materials, guided staff instruction and firing of your pottery. The cost of the pottery shape you select is in addition to the class fee and can vary depending on the stoneware pottery piece you choose. The majority of stoneware shapes are priced at $29 and up. You will be able to select your piece the night of class.

Feel free to arrive up to 15 minutes early before the start of class to select your pottery and get settled at your table.  Please note that because we are working with stoneware, turnaround time for firing will be about 7-10 days before it’s ready for pick up.

No experience or artistic talent needed- our instructors walk you through the class step by step with lots of design tips to get great results! Your pottery piece will be ready for pick up in about a week from the date of class unless otherwise noted above.

Feel free to bring snacks, beverages and invite your friends to join the class! BYOB for those 21 & up.

Teens are welcome to join our class with a participating adult.

The non-refundable class fee required at sign up will allow us to prepare your materials for class. In the event you cannot make class and you have provided us with at least 24 hours’ notice we will offer you a free paint-time card for any walk-in pottery painting session in the near future. We like to keep unexpected things happy.
